Since its inception, DTP has impacted 100s&#8217; of companies that have benefited from nearly $1 Billion in grants and investments. DTP has helped create more than 16,000 new jobs in the community.<\/h3><h3>The tremendous success of DTP is possible because of its strategic alignment with the State, the University of Delaware, and the private sector, and it is successfully using this partnership model that has won DTP national recognition. In 2005, the Association of University Research Parks (AURP) recognized DTP as the Outstanding Research\/Science Park of the Year. Additionally, the U.S. Council on Competitiveness recognized DTP as a model research park for its regional economic development initiatives across the U.S. and Mexico.<\/h3><h3>\u00a0<\/h3>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-955f367 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"955f367\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Overview<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-04f849f elementor-widget-divider--view-line elementor-widget elementor-widget-divider\" data-id=\"04f849f\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"divider.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-divider\">\n\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-divider-separator\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/span>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-0a1343d elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"0a1343d\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h3>The DTP facility houses five buildings, three multi-tenant buildings owned and operated by DTP, and now, two buildings are owned and operated by <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.udel.edu\">UD<\/a><\/span>, the Delaware Biotechnology Institute and the Fraunhofer USA Center for Molecular Biotechnology. DTP has a laboratory extension called DTP@STAR on UD\u2019s STAR Campus. DTP offers cutting-edge physical infrastructure, including wet labs, office space, conference facilities and a park-wide fiber optic network, to meet the varying needs of its companies and organizations.<\/h3><div>\u00a0<\/div><h3>DTP management selects the best and the brightest to set up operations in the Park. Admittance is based on technology and business focus, financial status and leadership capability.
